Adoption of this resolution will permit the development of additional open space and relocated surface parking.
BODY:
Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits variations to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and
 
Whereas, The amended detailed plan for a planned development known as Lapham Park was approved by the Common Council on April 2, 1996 under File No. 951635; and
 
Whereas, The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee proposes to develop new relocated surface parking areas and additional open space in the Lapham Park housing development; and
 
Whereas, The relocated parking and open space development would be consistent with approved plans and would not adversely affect the surrounding area; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the minor modification to the approved plan permitting the development of relocated surface parking and additional open space as shown on a site plan dated April 30, 1997 is approved.
