ANLS:

This resolution authorizes City officials to execute an agreement for wholesale water service to the Village of Butler.

BODY:

Whereas, The Common Council, on Resolution File No. 990568, authorized the Water Works to negotiate an agreement for wholesale water service with the Village of Butler; and

Whereas, The terms of an agreement for the sale of water to the Village of Butler were drafted by the Water Works and submitted to Butler; and

Whereas, The Village of Butler adopted Resolution No. 99-26 on September 21, 1999 that approved the agreement for the purchase of water at wholesale; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached Agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the Village of Butler for the purchase of water at wholesale; and be it

Further Resolved, That the Water Works file a fully executed copy of the agreement with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.
