Analysis

Resolution authorizing the proper City Officers to execute Quit Claim Deed QCD-2941 conveying the storm sewer from a point 125± feet north of West Reichert Place in North 42^nd Street to a point 170± feet northeast of North 42^nd Street, in the 1^st Aldermanic District. This sewer is being conveyed because it is no longer needed for public use.

Body

Whereas, the City of Milwaukee owns the storm sewer from a point 125± feet north of West Reichert Place in North 42^nd Street to a point 170± feet northeast of North 42^nd Street; and

Whereas, The City will convey the storm sewer from a point 125± feet north of West Reichert Place in North 42^nd Street to a point 170± feet northeast of North 42^nd Street; and

Whereas, The said sewer to be conveyed no longer serves the public interest; and

Whereas, Historic Patterson Place, LLC has agreed to accept ownership of said sewer, and therefore be it further

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to execute the Quit Claim Deed document (QCD-2941) in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution) and to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
