Analysis

This resolution authorizes acceptance of Water and Sewer Easements WE-877, SE-2755 and SE-2844 at 201 West Pleasant Street and 1500 North 2^nd Street in the 6^th Aldermanic District.

Body

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee requested an easement needed for sewer facilities located at 201 West Pleasant Street and 1500 North 2^nd Street; and

Whereas, The easement area is in lands owned by The Brewery Works Inc.; and

Whereas, The land-owner is willing to grant Water and Sewer Easements WE-877, SE-2755 and SE-2844 to the City giving the City permission to enter the property, and to construct, operate, maintain, inspect, and repair sewer facilities within the easement area on terms and conditions negotiated by the City's Department of Public Works, as reflected in the easement documents that have been made part of this file; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts Water and Sewer Easement documents WE-877, SE-2755 and SE-2844, said easement documents being attached to this Common Council Resolution File Number 140161 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said easement documents have been accepted, they shall be forwarded to the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the Department of Public Works for recording.
