Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, and construction of South 27th Street (STH 241) from UPRR to West Forest Home (STH 24). The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 75 percent Federal and State aid and 25 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. Whereas, A project agreement has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to be executed by the City of Milwaukee for the programming, design, and construction of South 27th Street (STH 241) from UPRR to West Forest Home (STH 24) with Federal and State aid under the State Highway Rehabilitation Program; and
