Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development is soliciting applications for funding for the Wisconsin Fast Forward Industry Sectors Worker Training Grants program; and
Whereas, The grants offered are intended to support Wisconsin employers, including public agencies, with training related expenses; and
Whereas, Applications approved for the Wisconsin Fast Forward program will be funded with a 50% grantor share and a 50% local share; and
Whereas, The application deadline is February 18; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Emergency Communications is authorized to apply for a Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development’s Wisconsin Fast Forward Industry Sectors Worker Training Grant.
