WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Housing Authority) solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 58147 during the period November 6, 2024 through November 22, 2024 for Hazardous Materials Abatement Services at Various Sites; and

WHEREAS, one (1) sealed bid was received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CST) on November 22, 2024; and

WHEREAS, the sealed bid was received and publicly opened on November 22, 2024, during which the bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and

WHEREAS, KPH Environmental Corp., a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid of various hourly rates with a basis of award of $84.64 per hour; and

WHEREAS, Housing Authority staff estimates services on an as-needed basis in the amount of $500,000.00 based on previous years’ expenditures; therefore, be it,

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with KPH Environmental Corp. for Hazardous Materials Abatement Services at Various Sites, in an amount not to exceed $500,000.00 for services on an as-needed basis; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from various sources as needed; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Housing Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Housing Authority; and, be it
