This resolution extends the time provided to the MKE Community Impact Committee to develop a methodology for allocating funds from the MKE Community Impact Fund and to present that methodology to the Common Council for approval. The deadline is extended to March 31, 2027.

Whereas, Common Council File Number 250489, which was adopted on July 31, 2025, directs the MKE Community Impact Committee to devise a method for allocating funds within the MKE Community Impact Fund and to present the methodology to the Common Council within 120 days of the effective date of the resolution for approval; and
Whereas, Common Council File Number 251908, adopted on March 3, 2026, extended the reporting period for the MKE Community Impact Committee to present its methodology to the Common Council from 120 days to 240 days; and
Whereas, The MKE Community Impact Committee would benefit from additional time to develop the methodology; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 250489, as amended by Common Council File Number 251908, is further amended by extending the reporting deadline to March 31, 2027; and, be it
Further Resolved, the MKE Community Impact Committee shall devise a methodology for allocating funds from the MKE Community Impact Fund and present that methodology to the Common Council for approval by March 31, 2027.
