Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2004 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 26, 2003 - December 7, 2003):

Under Salary Grade 016, add the footnote designation "7/" following the title "Assistant Chief of Police" and add the following footnote: "7/ Assistant Chief Leslie T. Barber shall enter the position at step 8."

Part 2. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2004 - December 21, 2003):

Under Salary Grade 13 add the title "Deputy City Clerk 1/" and add the following footnote: "1/ The position of Deputy City Clerk Carolyn Hill-Robertson shall be placed at step 10."

Under Salary Grade 14 delete the title "Deputy City Clerk."

Under Salary Grade 017, add the footnote designation "3/" following the title "Chief of Staff" and add the following footnote: "3/ The position of Chief of Staff to be paid at rates consistent with Salary Grade 016."

Part 3. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Salary Grade 006, add the footnote designation "5/" following the title "Network Coordinator-Senior" and add the following footnote: "5/ One position to be paid at Salary Grade 008 rates while held by Kimberly Berry."

Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
