ANLS:
This resolution approves an agreement between the City of Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Community Service Corps and the Friends of the Menomonee River, whereby the City would accept donated labor and materials regarding the construction of a pedestrian/bike path.
BODY:
Whereas, The Milwaukee Community Service Corps and the Friends of the Menomonee River have indicated that they wish to donate certain labor and materials to the City for use in the construction of a pedestrian/bike trail extending approximately between just west of North 25th Street and just east of North Ember Lane along the south side of the Menomonee River; and
Whereas, The offer of the above organizations to donate such labor and materials is acceptable to the City of Milwaukee and an agreement has been drafted with respect to the donation of such labor and materials and is attached to this file; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to enter into an agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the above organizations in substantially the same as the agreement attached to this file, which is hereby approved.
