Analysis

This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to issue a permit to allow for the promotion of a television show at one or more City-owned bridges.

Body

Whereas, GMR Marketing has requested the Department of Public Works to allow the promotion of a new television show on the FX network, called "The Bridge"; and

Whereas, The promotion would consist of projecting an image under one or more City-owned bridges, when they are raised for boat traffic; and

Whereas, GMR Marketing would do the promotion in June and July of 2013; now, therefore be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized to issue a special event permit to GMR Marketing for the promotion of "The Bridge".
