Analysis
This resolution approves the entitled Agreement for Payment for Relocation or Replacement of Municipal Utility Facilities Located on Public Held Land Required by Freeway Construction for City of Milwaukee - Communications facilities, and authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute the agreement on behalf of the City of Milwaukee.

This agreement relates to utility work on City of Milwaukee - Communications facilities necessitated by the rehabilitation of the Zoo Interchange work on the 76th Street Bridge over IH 94 contract being undertaken by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in 2013, State Project ID 1060-33-07/78. This agreement provides generally for the City to be reimbursed from the State 90 percent of the City costs for all work on City of Milwaukee - Communications facilities necessitated by the freeway rehabilitation project in accord with Wisconsin State Statute 84.295(4m).

This resolution also authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to prepare and review plans and estimates for the Zoo Interchange utility work as necessary to accomplish the project. This resolution also authorizes the Comptroller to establish accounts as necessary for the Department of Public Works and the Information Technology and Management division to track the work and to submit invoices to the State of Wisconsin for work undertaken on this project as approved by the Commissioner of Public Works, for a total amount of $51,000.00 with a City share of $5,100.00.
