Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $68,000 with the total cost estimated to be $674,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

5th Aldermanic District

W. Townsend St. - N. 76th St. to N. 82nd St. (SM495110540): Sewer work prior to paving. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $17,300, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $37,300. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.

10th Aldermanic District

S. 60th St. - W. Dickinson St. to W. Main St. (SM495110528): Sewer work prior to paving. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $3,000, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $20,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.

W. Wedgewood Dr. - S. Sunset Dr. to S. Massachusetts Ave. (WT410120001): Relay water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $10,000; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $10,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $280,000.
