This resolution increases the 1997 revenue and expenditure authority for the Department of Employe Relations-Training and Development Services Section's services account from $145,000 to 173,000 to cover unanticipated expenses incurred by the Training and Development Services Section.
BODY:
Whereas, The adopted 1997 Budget authorizes total expenditures of $145,000 from the Department of Employe Relations-Training and Development Services Section's services account (account number 56-774-0-6300); and
Whereas, In 1997, the Training and Development Services Section has experienced unanticipated expenses relating to Milwaukee Information Systems and outside vendor charges; and
Whereas, An adjustment is necessary to deal with this expenditure overage; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the 1997 budget expenditure authority for the Department of Employe Relations-Training and Development Services Section's services account (account number 56-774-0-6300) is increased from $145,000 to 173,000; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Comptroller is authorized and directed to increase the Department of Employe Relations Training and Development Services' Fund Appropriation Services Account, #56-774-0-6300 by an additional amount of $28,000, and increase offsetting estimated revenues by a like amount.
