Body
Whereas, Ameritech Corporation is requesting permission to keep and maintain two recently installed private pedestrian-scale harp-style lights located in the public right-of-way in the sidewalk adjacent to the entrance to the building at 722-40 North Broadway; and

Whereas, Said harp lights may only be permitted to occupy the public right-of-way by the adoption of a special privilege by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Ameritech Corporation, Attn: Area Manager – Property Management, N17 W24300 Riverwood Drive, 1st Floor, Waukesha, WI 53188 is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To keep and maintain two private pedestrian-scale harp-style lights in the sidewalk adjacent to the entrance to the building at 722-40 North Broadway. Said harp lights are centered approximately 17 feet 6 inches west of the eastline of North Broadway in the 20-foot wide sidewalk area and approximately 168 feet and 194 feet south of the southline of East Mason Street.

The harp light units shall be anchored and supported to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Public Works. Electrical power shall be supplied from a private source via underground conduit.
