Analysis

This  resolution footnotes the City Attorney Receivership Fund SPA in the 2005 adopted budget to require an RFP be issued to determine the selection of contractors to manage, secure and abate nuisance properties.

Body

Whereas, The City Attorney Receivership Fund Special Purpose Account expends funds related to legal expenses for nuisance properties and receivership lawsuits; and

Whereas, With respect to the adoption of the 2005 city budget, it would be desirable to require that an RFP be issued to determine the selection of contractors to manage, secure and abate nuisance properties; now, therefore be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Attorney Receivership Fund Special Purpose Account shall be footnoted as follows:

"(N) An RFP shall be issued to determine the selection of contractors to manage, secure, and abate nuisance properties."
