Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Comptroller to establish a new capital improvement project for Fire Engine House #2-Paint Exterior and to transfer appropriations from existing capital projects; and to further authorize the Fire Department to expend funds for this purpose.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee's 2001 Capital Improvement Budget included funds for Fire Department window replacement and toilet and ventilation projects; and
Whereas, The painting of Fire Department Engine House Number 2, located at 755 N. James Lovell Street, was not previously authorized or budgeted; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Comptroller is authorized to establish a capital project for the purpose of Engine House #2-Paint Exterior (FR13081000); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Comptroller is authorized to transfer appropriations from capital improvement projects totaling $126,000.00 to the new project Engine House #2-Paint Exterior (FR13081000) as follows: $32,205.71 from DPW 5010, New Construction Site Engine House #3 (FR13080800); $23,600.18 from DPW 5010, Fire Toilet and Ventilation (FR13080100); and $70,194.11 from Fire 3280, Toilet and Ventilation (FR13080100); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Fire Department is authorized to expend for the purpose of painting engine house #2.
