Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a document titled “Grant Agreement Under the Fiscal Year 2023 Neighborhood Access and Equity Program” and associated documents required for the agreement with the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) for the programming, design, and construction of North 6th Street from West National Avenue to West North Avenue. The Agreement provides for 100 percent Federal aid and 0 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. The total estimated cost of this project is $36,560,000 with a City share of $0 and a grantor share of $36,560,000. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds for preliminary engineering at an estimated cost of $2,500,000 with an estimated City share of $0 and a grantor share of $2,500,000. Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.
