Analysis
This resolution authorizes the reallocation of Milwaukee Christian Center-NIP, Inc. 2018 CDBG additional award in the amount of $47,824 to End Domestic Abuse, Inc.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee has previously approved the CDBG award of $47,824 to Milwaukee Christian Center-NIP, Inc. for the Neighborhood Improvement Project; and

Whereas, The Milwaukee Christian Center-NIP, Inc. has notified the Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) of their decision to no longer accept this funding, CDGA is recommending the funds be reallocated to End Domestic Abuse, Inc. for Domestic Violence Intervention/Prevention/Case Management ;and

Whereas, End Domestic Abuse, Inc. states that this allocation will allow for the funding of the ASHA Family Project. The ASHA Family Project will provide Domestic Abuse Counselling and other services; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Community Development Grants Administration is authorized to distribute the CDBG funding as stated above; and, be it

Further Resolved, That End Domestic Abuse, Inc. shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it

Further Resolved, That payments for CDBG cost incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved CDBG reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller; and, be it
