This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute Partial Sewer Easement Release SER-1657.
Body
Whereas, On June 12, 1964, the City of Milwaukee was granted a sewer easement located in an area west of North 68th Street (extended) and south of West Bradley Road, having Tax Key number 082-9993-100, by Ash Reality Corporation; and
Whereas, WE Energies (formerly known as Wisconsin Electric Power Company) acquired ownership of said easement area and surrounding lands on May 31, 1996; and
Whereas, There is an existing 15-inch diameter sanitary sewer in the easement area, and
Whereas, A portion of said sanitary sewer located within said easement area has been abandoned due to a sewer relocation; and
Whereas, That portion of said easement shall no longer serve the interests of the City of Milwaukee, and therefore said portion may be released; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute Partial Sewer Easement Release SER-1657, copies of which are attached to the Common Council Resolution File Number 020407 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it
Further Resolved, That after said sewer easement release has been executed by the proper City officers, it shall be forwarded to the office of the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the office of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
