Substitute ordinance to further amend the 1998 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 970831 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Department of Administration, Central Services Division, Administration Section", delete one position of "Professional Services Representative (MIS)(Y)" and add one position of "Professional Services Manager (MIS)(Y)" and under "Milwaukee Information Systems Division, City Care/Network Support Team", delete two positions of "Network Specialist II" and add two positions of "Network Specialist III."
Under "Health Department, Public Health Services Decision Unit", delete one position of "Microcomputer Services Assistant" and substitute in lieu thereof one position of "Network Services Coordinator-Senior."
Under "Police Department, Administration/Services Decision Unit, Personnel and Administration Bureau", delete one position of "Deputy Chief of Police" and under "Operations Decision Unit, Criminal Investigation Bureau, Special Operations Bureau", add one position of "Deputy Chief of Police."
Under "Department of Public Works-Buildings and Fleet Division, Fleet Services Section, Auxiliary Positions", delete five positions of "Vehicle Service Technician" and two positions of "Auto Mechanic Supervisor II" and add one position of "Vehicle Service Technician-Heavy", four positions of "Auto Mechanic Supervisor I" and two positions of "Auto Mechanic Supervisor III."
Under "Department of Public Works-Water Works, Business Decision Unit, Meter Repair Section, Auxiliary Positions", delete one position of "Meter Installation Field Supervisor" and add one position of "Water Meter Field Supervisor."
