Resolution authorizing the issuance of a street occupancy permit to J.F. Findorff & Son Inc. for a continuous concrete pour at East Wells Street adjacent to the BMO Tower construction site 790 North Water Street in the 4th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes City officials to issue an occupancy permit to Findorff allowing them to occupy East Wells Street between North Broadway and North Water Street.
Body
Whereas, Findorff has been contracted for construction of the BMO Tower at 790 north Water Street; and
Whereas, Findorff has requested to occupy East Wells Street between North Broadway and North Water Street for a period of 3 days beginning June 1, 2018 and ending June 3, 2018; and
Whereas, Findorff will maintain access to North Market Street from East Wells Street at all times; and
Whereas, Findorff will maintain access along the north sidewalk of East Wells Street at all times; and
Whereas, Findorff will be responsible to contact all affected property owners and businesses informing them of the closure of the streets and the affected dates; and
Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the right of way while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to issue an occupancy permit to Findorff allowing them to occupy East Wells Street between North Broadway and North Water Street.
