Analysis
This resolution authorizes payment of said judgment, in the amount of $36,648.01, to the Milwaukee Police Association, Bradley DeBraska and Eggert Law Offices; and
Body
Whereas, The petitioners, Milwaukee Police Association and Bradley DeBraska through their attorneys, Eggert Law Offices, filed a mandamus action against Chief Arthur Jones, pursuant to the Wisconsin Open Records Law; and
 
Whereas, The court found in favor of petitioners; and
 
Whereas, In an order dated March 2, 2001, the court ordered payment of petitioners' fees and costs, in the amount of $36,648.01; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper city officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a check in the amount of $36,648.01, payable to the Milwaukee Police Association, Bradley DeBraska and Eggert Law Offices, in full and final payment of said judgment, said check to be delivered to the City Attorney upon his request, said amount to be charged to the Damages and Claims Fund, Account No. 636505, Fund No. 0001, Organization No. 1490, Program No. 2631, Sub Class No. S118.
