Ordinance relating to the approval of the 8th amendment to the general plan for a general planned development known as Park Place, located north of West Good Hope Road and west of North 107th Street, in the 15th Aldermanic District. (DCD)

This ordinance will expand the range of uses permitted in a portion of the site to include hotels and various services such as travel agencies, delivery or copying services, medical clinics or labs, and barber or beauty shops. This ordinance also will establish signage standards in the same portion of the project.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code a new section to read:

Section 295-810(2)(a).0042.

(1) In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-810(1) of the Milwaukee Code relating to the establishment of planned development districts, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee approves the 8th amendment to the general plan for a general planned development known as Park Place, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit "A" which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.

(2) The zoning map is amended so as to include in a General Planned Development District (GPD) the area bounded and described as follows:

Parcel 2 of Certified Survey Map No. 5555, Recorded June 5, 1991, as Document No. 6487562 and lands in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 18, Township 8 North, Range 21 East, in the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows:

Commencing at a point in the East line of said Southeast 1/4, said line also being the centerline of North 107th Street 883.06 feet North 00 deg. 31 min. 23 sec. East of the Southeast corner of said Southeast 1/4; thence North 89 deg. 28 min. 37 sec. West 60.00 feet to the poin...
