Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, real estate acquisition, and construction of North Green Bay Road (STH 57) from West Capitol Drive to West Silver Spring Drive. The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 75 percent Federal and State aid and 25 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. The revised total estimated cost of this project is $21,750,000 with a grantor share of $19,934,000 and a City share of $1,816,000. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer additional funds for preliminary engineering at an estimated cost of $800,000 with an estimated City share of $200,000 and a grantor share of $600,000. Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.

Whereas, A revised project agreement has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to be executed by the City of Milwaukee for the programming, design, and construction of North Green Bay Road (STH 57) from West Capitol Drive to West Silver Spring Drive with Federal and State aid under the State Highway Rehabilitation Program; and
