- ANALYSIS -
This resolution will rescind the authority to construct the new east-west alley leg in the block bounded by W. Cherry St., W. Vliet St., N. 27th St. and N. 28th St., because the work was undertaken by the property owner.
BODY:
Whereas, On June 27, 1995, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted File Number 950263 approving the construction of a developer project, the alley between W. Cherry St., W. Vliet St., N. 27th St. and N. 28th St. (New E-W Leg), and
Whereas, Said construction of the alley leg was undertaken by the property owner and was not undertaken by the City; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that we rescind authority for construction of said project as part of the development as follows:
"Alley between W. Cherry St., W. Vliet St., N. 27th St. and N. 28th St. (New E-W Leg) (959-0330-1) File Number 950263: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction, and grading. (Developer Paving Fund 72-523---210-8000 -- $16,000)"
; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper city officers comply with the requirements of File Number 881665, said File being the Guidelines for the Control of Capital Expenditures.
