Analysis

This resolution approves a parking agreement between the City of Milwaukee and The Edison SPE, LLC, at the 1000 North Water Street parking structure to lease 100 parking spaces.

Body

Whereas, The Edison is a mixed-use development that will include 378 residential units and over 7,000 square feet of commercial space at 1005 North Edison Street; and

 

Whereas, Construction of The Edison, which is being developed by The Edison SPE, LLC, is expected to be completed 2027; and

 

Whereas, The Edison SPE, LLC, requested an agreement to lease 100 parking spaces in the City-owned 1000 North Water Street parking structure to serve The Edison development; and now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works, or designee, is authorized to execute a lease agreement in substantially similar form as the attached agreement between the City of Milwaukee and The Edison SPE, LLC; and, be it
