This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute an Easement Agreement with the City of Glendale for the construction of a detention pond outlet to Crestwood Creek.
BODY:
Whereas, The City of Glendale presently has a storm water connection to a City of Milwaukee 132-inch diameter storm sewer on the south side of West Silver Spring Drive at Crestwood Boulevard; said connection is serving City of Glendale streets located north of West Silver Spring Drive; and
Whereas, That portion of the said 132-inch diameter storm sewer is located within the City of Glendale limits by permit; and
Whereas, Said 132-inch diameter storm sewer outlets into the City of Milwaukee's Crestwood Creek; and
Whereas, The City of Glendale desires to construct a detention pond within their own limits in an area south of West Silver Spring Drive and west of Crestwood Creek, said detention pond will be draining low storm water flows from an area bounded on the east by Crestwood Creek and on the south by West Silver Spring Drive in the City of Glendale; and
Whereas, Said storm water flows are presently discharging into said 132-inch diameter storm sewer; and
Whereas, The City of Glendale is proposing to outlet said detention pond into Crestwood Creek; and
Whereas, The construction of said detention pond shall have positive impacts on the water quality and quantity of Crestwood Creek; and
Whereas, Easement Agreement, SA-2643 is required to permit the City of Glendale to construct the outlet pipe of said detention pond within the City of Milwaukee limits; now, therefore, be it
