This ordinance substitutes "Captain Frederick Pabst Theater" for references in the Arts Board ordinance to the "Pabst Theater."
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 320-12-3-c and d of the code is amended to read:
320-12. Arts Board.
3. GUIDELINES.
c. The board shall ensure that projects or programs that are administered by or respond programmatically to the needs of this city's racial and ethnic minorities receive at least 40% of available funds not allocated for >>Captain Frederick<< Pabst Theater purposes.
d. The board shall ensure that funding for the >>Captain Frederick<< Pabst Theater is provided in a manner that helps to preserve this unique cultural asset but steadily transfers support of its operation and maintenance to the private sector.
