Whereas, The demolition of condemned properties - properties declared unfit for human habitation -- or those properties owned by the City as a result of a tax forfeiture proceedings is a vital component of the City's economic and neighborhood revitalization efforts; and
Whereas, It is essential that the demolition of these properties takes place in as timely a manner as possible; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that an amount not to exceed $250,000 shall be transferred from the 2002 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-0001-C001-006300-2002) to the City of Milwaukee - Department of Neighborhood Services' Razing and Vacant Building Protection Fund (0001-3600-S162-006300); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish all funds and necessary accounting procedures to fulfil the intent of this resolution.
