This ordinance extends the city's employe long term disability insurance program to nonmanagement, nonrepresented employes.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 350-33-1 of the code is amended to read:
350-33. Long Term Disability Insurance.
1. PROGRAM AUTHORIZED, PAYMENT OF PREMISES. The proper city officers who are authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of the city are authorized and permitted to enter into a contract or contracts for purchase of long term disability insurance coverage for management >>and nonmanagement, nonrepresented<< employes, and to contract for the payment of premiums and pay such premiums for such coverage.
