This ordinance will permit the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections to apply for a special use permit to construct a community correctional residential center.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-620(1).0002. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning from Industrial (I/B/85) to Institutional (T/D/40) for the area bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4, Township 7 North, Range 22 East, in the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, thence North 00 deg. 05 min. 00 sec. East along the West line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 4 1324.30 feet; thence North 89 deg. 50 min. 00 sec. East 658 feet to a point on the East right-of-way line of North Holton Street and the point of beginning of the Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul and Pacific Company Railroad; thence Northwesterly 192.44 feet along said Westerly right-of-way line, said line being the arc of a curve with a radius of 469.84 feet, its centerpoint to the West, a central angle of 23 deg. 28 min. 04 sec. and a long chord that bears North 14 deg. 11 min. 00 sec. West 191.10 feet; thence North 25 deg. 48 min. 00 sec. West along said Westerly line 160.37 feet; thence South 89 deg. 50 min. 00 sec. West 230.34 feet; thence South 00 deg. 05 min. 00 sec. West 330 feet to the point of beginning.
