Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

2nd Aldermanic District

W. Lawn Ave. - N. 87th St. to N. 90th St. (ST211250139/ST221250727) Install traffic calming speed hump(s). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $4,035; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500; Traffic Calming Assessment Offset -- $1,465). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $7,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.

N. 62nd St. - W. Congress St. to W. Medford Ave. (ST211250140/ST221250728) Install traffic calming speed hump(s). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $2,060; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500; Traffic Calming Assessment Offset -- $3,340). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $6,900. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.
