ANLS:
This resolution approves the 1998 citywide affirmative action plan submitted by the City Service Commission to the Common Council, and directs all city departments and agencies to implement the recommendations of the plan.
BODY:
Whereas, Section 350-203 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances provides for the submission of an annual citywide affirmative action plan by the City Service Commission to the Common Council for review and approval; and
Whereas, A citywide affirmative action plan for 1998 has been submitted to the Common Council, and the Common Council supports the findings and recommendations contained in the plan; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council approves the 1998 citywide affirmative action plan attached to this file, and directs all city departments and agencies to implement the recommendations of the plan.
