This resolution authorizes the proper City officers to execute a Sewer License Agreement.
BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee is proposing to relay a deteriorated 6'x 4' box combined sewer with 72-inch and 84-inch diameter combined sewers crossing the Soo Line Railroad Company right-of-way at East Mineral Street, east of South Barclay Street; and
Whereas, The construction of said sewers across said right-of-way requires the City of Milwaukee to obtain a sewer license agreement from said railroad; and
Whereas, Said railroad has prepared a Sewer License Agreement, SL-1222A-2 allowing the construction of said sewers upon the payment of a one time license fee of $150; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute Sewer License Agreement SL-1222A-2, a copy of which agreement is attached to this Common Council File No. 970103 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; to transmit said Sewer License Agreement to said railroad for execution, and to transmit a copy to the City Comptroller's office for safekeeping; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the aforesaid payment to said Railroad Company of $150 for said Sewer License Agreement shall be charged against the Relief and Relay Sewer Subaccount Number 31-523-2-6398-171-2090.
