Title

Resolution approving a Lease Agreement with Discovery World.

Analysis

This resolution would approve a Lease Agreement with Discovery World for 0.75 acres located at the foot of Russell Avenue for the use of a maintenance and repair facility for the schooner DENIS SULLIVAN and related activities by the Tenant's schooner operation and joint activities with community education and youth groups.  The term is from March 1, 2012 through February 28, 2017.  

Body

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said Common Council hereby ratifies and approves the Lease Agreement between the City of Milwaukee, by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners and Discovery World; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the designated officers of said government and said Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to carry out this purpose as prepared by the City Attorney's office.
