Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, and construction of West Capitol Drive (STH 190) from STH 100 to North 35th Street. The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 75 percent Federal and State aid and 25 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. The total estimated cost of this project is $6,880,000 with a City share of $372,200 and a grantor share of $6,499,250. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds for preliminary engineering at an estimated cost of $855,000 with an estimated City share of $205,200 and a grantor share of $641,250. Remaining $8,550 of costs to be funded by City of Wauwatosa. Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.
