This resolution authorizes the satisfaction of an outstanding judgment from funds available in the Damages & Claims Account. __________________________________________________
 
 
BODY:
Whereas, On June 12, 1997, the Circuit Court entered judgment in the above-entitled case; and
 
Whereas, The City Attorney has recommended that the judgment be satisfied; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper city officers be and hereby are authorized to satisfy the judgment in the amount of $4,357.68, plus $3,681.00 as attorney fees and court costs in the amount of $187.00, together with interest at the rate of 12% from June 27, 1997; said check to be paid to the Milwaukee Police Supervisors' Organization and its attorneys, Boyle, Boyle & Smith, S.C.; said check to be delivered upon receipt of a properly executed satisfaction of judgment in a form acceptable to the Office of the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to the Damages & Claims Fund, Account #01-013-8001.
