This resolution authorizes the sale of said vacant, tax deed lot by the City of Milwaukee.

BODY:

Whereas, Capital Christian Church has offered to purchase the vacant, tax deed lot located at 2501-03 North 36th Street, Tax Roll Key No. 327-0316-9, from the City of Milwaukee for use as green space, containing 4,716 square feet for the amount of $1.00; and

Whereas, The adjoining owner is not interested in this lot; and

Whereas, Capital Christian Church is not an adjoining owner, but this sale would enhance their overall service area and the adjoining property owner does not object; and

Whereas, This vacant, tax deed lot is being sold in "as is" condition; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer, the sale of said property to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax deed property pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said Offer is accepted and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale of said lot and that the proceeds be credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 02-211- 2700.
