This ordinance will establish a General Planned Development for a 49-unit elderly housing development and community center.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances ("Code") a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-810(2)(b).0026.
1. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-810(1) of the Code relating to the establishment of planned development districts, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee approves the general plan for a General Planned Development (GPD) known as the Indian Council Elderly Housing Development, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit "A" which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.
2. The zoning map is amended to change from Single-Family Residence (R/F-2/40) to General Planned Development (GPD), the area bounded and described as follows:
That part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 22, T6N, R21E, in the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, which is bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said 1/4 Section; thence South 87 deg. 47 min. 20 sec. West along the North line of said 1/4 Section (centerline of West Howard Avenue) 237.44 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence Due South 650.78 feet to a point; thence South 87 deg. 42 min. 20 sec.
