Analysis

This resolution authorizes acceptance of Sewer Easement SE-2849 located in the area south of the south line of West Meinecke Avenue between North 24^th Place and North 25^th Street in the 15^th Aldermanic District.

Body

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee requested an easement needed for sewer facilities located in the area south of West Meinecke Avenue and east of North 25^th Street; and

Whereas, The easement area is in lands owned by St. Ann Center Properties, Inc; and

Whereas, The land-owner is willing to grant Sewer Easement SE-2849 to the City giving the City permission to enter the property to construct, operate, maintain, inspect, repair, enlarge, reconstruct, replace, and relocate, as City deems necessary, the combined main sewers and related facilities within the easement area on terms and conditions negotiated by the City's Department of Public Works, as reflected in the easement documents that have been made part of this file; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts Sewer Easement document SE-2849, said easement document being attached to this Common Council Resolution File Number 141280 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said easement document has been accepted, it shall be forwarded to the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the Department of Public Works for recording.
