This original resolution amends Common Council File Number 220622 relative to the 2022-2023 Public Health Preparedness (CDC) Grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The purpose of this grant is to assure readiness for various public health emergencies.
Body
Whereas, Common Council File Number 220622 authorized the Health Department to accept and fund the 2022-2023 Public Health Preparedness (CDC) grant for the purpose of carrying out planning, preparation, and evaluation of public health emergency preparedness; and
Whereas, the $331,934 for this program is increased by $211,546, and total cost is increased by $211,546; now, therefore, be it;
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Milwaukee Code of Ordinances Section 304-81-5c; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:
1. Amend the budgeted funds within the Project/Grant parent account of the 2022 Special Revenue-Grant and Aid Projects Fund, the following amounts for the project titled Public Health Emergency Preparedness:
