Analysis
This resolution permits the Water Works and the Legislative Reference Bureau to prepare a feasibility report for the Common Council regarding water service to the Village of Germantown, in accordance with guidelines established by the Council.
Body
Whereas, The Village of Germantown has inquired about water service from the Milwaukee Water Works; and
Whereas, Under Resolution File No. 980871, the Common Council has established criteria for evaluating water service requests from neighboring communities which requires the Legislative Reference Bureau to conduct a feasibility study and the Milwaukee Water Works to conduct technical review of the request; now therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Legislative Reference Bureau and the Water Works are hereby authorized and directed to conduct a study and report on the feasibility and technical aspects of the water service request from the Village of Germantown in accordance with the guidelines identified in Resolution File No. 980871.
