Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City Officers to execute sewer easement releases SER-1689 and SER-1690, located in Lots 1 and 2, Block 1 of the West Ramsey Highlands Subdivision.
Body
Whereas, On July 21, 1953, the town of Lake, a Municipal Corporation was granted sewer easements, located in Lots1 and 2, Block 1 of the West Ramsey Highlands Subdivision, having Tax Key numbers, 669-0101-100-2 and 669-0102-000-1 by Victor Szewczykowski and Mary Szewczykowski (Husband and Wife); and
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee acquired said sewer easements from the town of Lake; and
Whereas, Said Lots 1 and 2 are currently served by the existing storm and sanitary sewers in West Ramsey Avenue and in South 27th Street; and
Whereas, The sewer easements no longer serve the interest of the City of Milwaukee and should be released; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute sewer easement releases SER-1689 and SER-1690, copies of which are attached to the Common Council Resolution File Number 010415 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it
Further Resolved, That after said easement releases have been executed by the proper City Officers, they shall be forwarded to the office of the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the office of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
