ANLS:
This resolution amends Common Council File 990554 relative to application, acceptance and funding of the Coordinated Community Response Grant. The purpose of the grant is to enhance/expand the Coordinated Community Response coordinated by the City of Milwaukee's Commission on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
BODY:
Whereas, Common Council File 990554 authorized the Health Department to apply for, accept and fund the Coordinated Community Response Grant from the State of Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance for the purpose of expanding/enhancing the Coordinated Community Response coordinated by the City of Milwaukee's Commission on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. This grant provided for a Grantor share total of $ 46,040; and

Whereas, The Grantor share for this program remains the same; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that application to the State of Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance is authorized and the Health Department shall accept such a grant without further Common Council approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Common Council File 940843 (Grant Ordinance); and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to commit funds within Project/Grant Parent 2000 Special Revenue Grant and Aid Projects fund, the following amount for the project titled Coordinated Community Response:
