Analysis

This resolution permits City departments to make limited policy and programmatic revisions upon the advice of the City Attorney.

Body

Whereas, From time to time, the City Attorney determines that certain programs, contracts, or policies of the City require limited revision for compliance with law; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that upon advice of the City Attorney and to comply with law, a City department may make limited revisions to programs, contracts, or policies originally approved pursuant to resolution; and, be it

Further Resolved, That City departments or the City Attorney, as appropriate, shall report to the Common Council any programmatic, contractual, or policy changes substantially affecting services to city residents or substantially reducing the amount of grant funding utilized by a program.
