Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works. Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
4th Aldermanic District
N. Jefferson St. - E. St. Paul Ave. to E. Erie St. (SM499240028) File Number 250267: Installing bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $200,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $230,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.
4th and 15th Aldermanic Districts
W. Cherry St. - N. 24th St. to N. 26th St. and N. 17th St. - W. Highland Ave. to W. Walnut St. (SM499250009) Installing bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $270,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $270,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.
6th Aldermanic District
