Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2000 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 990705 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Salary Grade 004, delete the title "Health Project Coordinator (LAND)."
Under Salary Grade 005, add the title "Lead Project Coordinator (POEP)" and also add the following statement: "Personnel filling positions in this pay range under the Career Internship Program shall be paid a prorated percentage of the authorized rate, based upon the Program's guidelines as administered by the Department of Employee Relations."
Under Salary Grade 007, delete the title "Salary Systems Administrator" and add the title "Certification and Salary Systems Administrator."
Part 2. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 990705 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 10, 2000 - April 30, 2000):
Under Salary Grade 017, add the title "Chief Information Officer."
Part 3. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 990705 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 26, 1999 - December 12, 1999):
Under Pay Range 540, delete footnote "6/" in its entirety and substitute the following footnote: "6/ Effective Pay Period 26, 1999, one position held by John English, in the DPW-Infrastructure Division, to be paid at rates consistent with Pay Range 936 while performing contract administrator duties."
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
