Analysis
This resolution amends a lease agreement with U.S. Cellular Operating Company LLC for the placement of personal communications services antennas at the Southside Health Center at 1640 S. 24th St., which was authorized by Common Council Resolution File Number 011232 and amended by Common Council Resolution File Number 200235. This Amendment allows U.S. Cellular to upgrade the equipment it has in place at the Southside Health Center.

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 011232 on January 22, 2002, approving the Lease Agreement with U.S. Cellular Operating Company LLC for the placement of personal communications services antennas at the Southside Health Center at 1640 S. 24th St.; and

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 200235 on July 7, 2020, approving the First Amendment to the Lease Agreement; and

Whereas, The Department of Administration, working with the City Attorney's Office, has negotiated an amendment to the lease agreement; and

Whereas, This Second Amendment of the Lease Agreement between the City and U.S. Cellular Operating Company LLC for the placement of personal communications services antennas at the Southside Health Center at 1640 S. 24th St., allows U.S. Cellular Operating Company LLC to upgrade its facilities; and

Whereas, The Lease Agreement offers a fair market value to the City, protects other City interests, and is acceptable to all City participants; now, therefore, be it
