Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute Release of Water Easement WE858A and Partial Release of Water Easements WE173A and WE801A.
Body
Whereas, On February 26, 1999 the City of Milwaukee was granted water easement WE858 located in C.S.M. No. 6594, Parcel 1, from 250' to 150' N/O W. Layton Ave. and 200' E/O S. 84th St. to S. 84th St., being portions of Tax Key Number 605-0165-001 by B and A Investments, LLC; and
Whereas, On December 6, 1963 the City of Milwaukee was granted water easement WE173 located at the Milwaukee County Zoo in S. 100th St. Extended, from 1300' S/O W. Blue Mound Rd. to 1700' S/O W. Blue Mound Rd., being portions of Tax Key Numbers 410-0001-111-6 and 415-9897-115; and
Whereas, On June 28, 1996 the City of Milwaukee was granted water easement WE801 located in C.S.M. No. 6261, Parcel 1 at 450' W/O S. 108th St., from 925' N/O to 810' N/O W. Cold Spring Rd., being portions of Tax Key Number 566-9960-001; and
Whereas, The water mains that were constructed in portions of these easements have been abandoned; and
Whereas, These portions of water easements are no longer required for future water purposes and do not serve the interest of the City of Milwaukee and should be released; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute the documents for Release of Water Easement WE858A and Partial Release of Water Easements WE173A and WE801A, copies of which are attached to and part of this file; and, be it
